Chris Hung is one of the top male singers in the Taiwanese language category and the record holder for most albums sold for a male singer in the same category. In 1976, he began to sing at the age of 6. Since then, his voices have accompanied Taiwanese for more than 30 years. Amongst many Taiwanese songs Chris has released, "A Little Umbrella" is regarded as the signature song for Chris' fans worldwide. Raised by his father, a top Taiwanese song composer and a great singer in his own right, Chris had the advantage of being taught by his mentor father personally. Furthermore, this father and son combination has always taken on the responsibility of carrying on the tradition and promoting the love for Taiwanese songs. From Chris’s performance, the audiences can feel his love, passion, and dedication to music and Taiwanese culture. This year, Taiwanese Cultural Festival is honoured to have Chris Hung’s "A Little Umbrella" as the China Airlines Concert.
