Future Band

"Future" was formed in 2003 by three young musicians, Will (Vocal), Isaac (Drums), and Mark (Bass), who met in a music school. The trio plays a wide variety of music ranging from blues, jazz, bossa nova to heavy metal, rock, and even popular music. They also write originals. The band loves music that can move and captivate the audience, and, as long as they can perform, they never care about the size of the venues, money, nor attendance. In a few years, they have gained a considerable amount of experience by giving hundreds of shows of all kinds in both Vancouver and Taiwan. The band has also collaborated with UBC and SFU student clubs, professional band shows, and also restaurants. Furthermore, they have also volunteered to play for several organizations such as, Lions Club、Women’s Club of SUCCESS, and International Rotary Club. You might have heard of them before, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if you thought they were professionals. The band was active until 2006, when the drummer unfortunately had to move to central Canada, and caused the band to go on hiatus. In the mean time, however, vocalist Will did not give up, and continued to fight for more and larger performances. Finally, in 2008, by cooperating with TaiwanFest, “Future” is able to have another “Future” for its music. This time, a whole new “Future” awaits you!
